Biography
I am Zhouyi Li from Nan Chang, Jiang Xi, China. As a student majoring in fashion design, I got my bachelor degree from the Academy of Art University. My design concept is that to make clothes is to build a house right on your body. Brought up in a family with my dad engaging in the construction industry, I developed a habit of copying his blueprints since my childhood. One of my favorite things to do back then was to have a discussion about those papers with my daddy, although they were entirely beyond my understanding. Yet with time going by, the idea that every geometric drawing or hard line could inspire me hits me. I used to search for inspiration in buildings and sculptures to develop a better sense of space and silhouette. For me, it's a journey full of surprises.
